Our Timeline

2021

Azizem was registered as a trademark in Turkey in 2021 to secure the brand’s identity before expanding the business internationally. The registration protects the name across relevant product classes, ensures that no other company in Turkey can legally use or imitate it, and establishes formal ownership that strengthens the brand’s credibility. This early step allowed the brand to develop confidently, including the creation of azizem.com, while laying the legal groundwork for future growth in both domestic and foreign markets.

2022

In 2022 Azizem introduced custom metal boxes designed to give our Cyprus delight a stronger and more memorable identity. The boxes quickly became a recognisable part of the brand and helped customers associate Azizem with quality, care and attention to detail. This step strengthened our presence in the market and played an important role in building trust and recognition among both local and international buyers.


2023

Azizem introduces a limited run of colourful cardboard boxes for the New Year, gathering great enthusiasm.

 

   

2024

Azizem Ltd proudly took part in the 2024 Birmingham UK Food and Drink Expo, presenting our Cyprus Delight to a wide range of international buyers and industry professionals. The event allowed us to introduce our brand, share our commitment to quality and craftsmanship and showcase the unique character of our products. It also marked an important step in positioning Azizem for wider international presence and future partnerships.


    

 

Later that same year, Azizem’s products reach all the way to China. Here’s Azizem’s founder’s Dr Küçükuncular’s Instagram story celebrating just that.


2025

Azizem rebrands, changing from Azizem Turkish Delight to simply Azizem Limited, conscious of the cultural sensitivities. Also, wherever possible, the word ‘lokum’ is highlighted, underlining its etymological routes.

  

 

2026

Azizem introduced Signature Tubes, launching five new product tubes and unveiling a refined packaging format designed to elevate presentation and brand identity. In the same year, Azizem began international brand expansion talks with prospective customers in Hong Kong and the UK.
